Black Locust
Robinia pseudoacacia, commonly known in its native
territory as black locust, is a medium-sized hardwood
deciduous tree, it is endemic to a few small areas of
the United States, but it has been widely planted and
naturalized elsewhere in temperate North America,
Europe, Southern Africa and Asia and is considered
an invasive species in some areas. Another common
name is false acacia, a literal translation of the
specific name.
Privet Tree
A privet is a flowering plant shrub of the olive family,
with small white heavily scented flowers and
poisonous black berries.
The genus is a deciduous or evergreen shrubs,
sometimes forming small or medium-sized trees,
native to Europe, north Africa,
Horse Chestnut 3yr old
Horse Chestnut was in Britain in 1616 and is now
common in parks, village greens and city streets.
It is easily recognised by its leaves, its spectacular
flowers in spring and its production of ‘conkers’ in
autumn. It can be confused with the Red Horse
Chestnut, which has red flowers and crinkled
leaves.
Elm Tree (8yr old)
Elms are deciduous and semi-deciduous trees
comprising the flowering plant genus Ulmus in
the plant family Ulmaceae.
The genus first appeared in the Miocene
geological period about 20 million years ago,
originating in what is now central Asia.

The pomegranate is a fruit-bearing deciduous
shrub in the family Lythraceae,
The pomegranate originated in the region
extending from Iran to northern India, and
has been cultivated since ancient times
throughout the Mediterranean region.
Black Cherry Tree (4yr old)
Black Cherry (prunus serotina)
Started by soaking the seed for 24 hours
then placing in paper towel and plastic bag.
Left in a warm place (20 deg) germinated in
around 15 days.
Planted in bonsai trainer plant pots.
